Hornbahn Russbach mountain station - **Difficulty:** easy - **Total altitude:** 1433m Viewpoint Hornspitz summit - **Altitude metres:** 140hm - **Length:** full loop via Bruno's Bergwelt 4.1km (same route back), alternative loop via the Gogosau 3.3km - **Walking time:** approx. 2h - **Arrival point:** Hornbahn Russbach mountain station or Hornspitzbahn mountain station The hike begins at the **Russbach Hornbahn mountain station** or the **Hornspitzbahn II in Gosau** and initially leads along a well-maintained path. After a short time, you reach a small **lookout station**, which offers a spectacular view of the idyllic Russbach - a perfect opportunity to pause and enjoy the impressive **mountain scenery**. After a short stretch, you reach a turn-off that leads to the **lookout point** on the Hornspitz. If you take this short diversions, you will be rewarded with a **stunning panorama** of the majestic **Dachstein massif** - a real highlight of the tour. The trail continues towards the Ochsenkopf lift, where the lift routes are crossed. Particular **caution is required here,** especially when the lift is in operation. A short but crisp ascent finally leads to the top station of the drag lift. From there, the return route begins, which leads back to the starting point on a gentle incline and once again offers the opportunity to enjoy the **fascinating mountain landscape** to the full.
