The idyllic houses stretch along the **glittering lake**. After a short hike, we reach the famous **photospot** with its breathtaking views. Continuing along the path, we reach the **historic market square**, where the **waterfall** near the UNESCO World Heritage **Salt Mine** splashes impressively in the background. Our route takes us past the **World Heritage Museum** and along the lakeside promenade to **Hallstatt Lahn**, from where there is a magnificent view of the lake. The more adventurous can explore the fascinating salt mines. The way back takes us along the Dr F. Morton Weg, which leads us across the market square. Once there, we climb directly into an alley near Café Derbl up to the 'Covered Stairs' to the **Catholic Church** and the famous **Beinhaus**.
