Always straight ahead, signposts show us the way to the Rammlerhöhe and to the Fatima chapel. Past the transmission mast, after 2.7 km we reach the large cross on the Rammlerhöhe. Here we are rewarded with a beautiful view over Losenstein and the Enns power plant. Here are the Lichterkreuz and a Mostbrunnen with drinks, set up by the rural youth Losenstein-Reichraming-Laussa. We continue down the meadow again onto the forest road and shortly afterwards we reach the Fatima chapel. Along the road to the Gspörr it goes back up towards the Jungscharalm. We circle the hill and return on the road to a signpost pointing to Laussa. We run down the path and reach the Schindlthal. At the bend of the road, an inconspicuous hunting path called Markussteig branches off to the left into the forest and leads us up to the Mistlberg. At the highest point of this trail is a wooden hut (with a drink box!!). and a great view of the surrounding mountains of the Upper Austrian foothills. Directly behind the hut, the path goes back towards the Fatima chapel. We walk straight along the forest road (Stifthal), past the Talstein (summit cross), until after a few kilometers we meet the path that leads us directly back to our starting point at the bus stop on Eisenstraße. **Tip:** **Refreshment opportunity:** At the Lichterkreuz there is a “Mostbrunnen” and at the Mistlberg by the hut a box with drinks (bring small change!!) **Equipment:** The required equipment always depends on the respective route and the weather conditions. Regarding food: this is very individual and it is recommended to have more rather than less with you in terms of equipment and food. A 5km round in the valley requires less than a demanding route in the mountains. The weather can change quickly and if you are not constantly moving or have to take a break, warming clothing is very important, for example. We have a general checklist here for you: - Weather-appropriate running clothes for the respective season – weather forecast – region – altitude. These include, among others: \\* a waterproof rain jacket \\* waterproof rain pants suitable for running \\* gloves and warm head covering (cap/headband/scarf) \\* sunglasses + sunscreen + head covering for very warm days - Trail running shoes - Water bottles, soft flasks or a hydration bladder with sufficient liquid for the respective tour (possibly also salt tablets/magnesium) - Snacks for an energy boost in between: energy bars, gels, chocolate, trail mix, - Running backpack: ideally a trail running vest / a trail running backpack or a waist belt for small trips. - Drypack: so your valuables or change of clothes stay dry (optionally a small trash bag) - Emergency blanket - Small first aid kit. An Israeli bandage is in my opinion very recommendable: it is a one-handed operated wound and pressure dressing. Die Jungscharalm hat 45 Betten in den Sommermonaten ist zusätzlich auch die Nächtigung für 8 Personen im Mattratzenlager (Dachgeschoss) möglich. Das Team Kinder | die Kath. Jungschar der Diözese Linz vermietet Jungscharhäuser. Auskunft, Anmeldung und Abrechnung erfolgen ausnahmslos durch das Team Kinder. Die Verwaltung der einzelnen Jungscharhäuser liegt in den Händen der jeweiligen Hausverwaltung, mit der auch die Hausübernahme und -rückgabe zu vereinbaren ist. Bei der Hausübernahme wird auch der Schlüssel übergeben. Landes-Jugendhaus Losenstein Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen durch den Nationalpark Kalkalpen ist das Landes-Jugendhaus Losenstein der ideale Stützpunkt für schulische Veranstaltungen. Im nahen Hallenbad kann auch ein trüber Tag Spaß machen und die frei zugängliche Burgruine Losenstein entführt in mittelalterliche Zeiten. Im Landes-Jugendhaus sind gemeinnützige Gruppen, Schulen (Projekt-, Sport-, Musik- und Schikurswochen) Familien und Vereine herzlich willkommen. Eine schriftliche oder telefonische Voranmeldung bei der Leitung ist notwendig. Das Landes-Jugendhaus ist ganzjährig geöffnet (Termine auf Anfrage). Das Haus hat 75 Betten (+10 Ausziehbetten) in Vier-, Drei- und Zwei- Bettzimmern, die alle mit Dusche und WC ausgestattet sind. Das Haus ist auch für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen geeignet, da die ganze Anlage rollstuhlgerecht gestaltet ist (behindertengerechte Sanitäranlagen und Lifte). Das Landes-Jugendhaus bietet Vollpension. Ein großer Teil der verwendeten Lebensmittel stammt aus Betrieben in der näheren Umgebung des Jugendhauses. Ein großer, teilbarer Seminarraum mit kompletter audio-visueller Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Viel Platz für Spiel und Spaß im Freien bietet die Spielwiese mit einer großen Lagerfeuerstelle. Musikerinnen und Musikern steht ein elektrisches Klavier, ein Pianino sowie genügend Räume für Gruppen- und Einzelproben zur Verfügung. Der Gymnastikraum kann für viele sportliche Aktivitäten wie Yoga, Jazzdance, Tischtennis oder Meditation genutzt werden. Wasserratten kommen im nahen Ennstalhallenbad der Gemeinde Losenstein mit Sauna, Solarium, etc. auf ihre Kosten. Das Landes-Jugendhaus ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wander- und Lehrausflüge (zum Beispiel Nationalparktage, Tal der Feitelmacher, Nagelschmiede Losenstein und Tropfsteinhöhle), sowie zum Mountainbiken und Klettern. 1. 2. 3.
