From Haslersgatter, you first take a leisurely walk along a forest road past Rumplmayrreith to Steyrsteg, where you will find one of the two bivouac sites in the Kalkalpen National Park. Shortly after you have crossed the Krumme Steyrling, another forest road leads on the right to the Weingartalm. The alp is not managed, but offers a first view over the forest sea of the Reichraminger Hintergebirge. Immediately after the Weingartalm, a trail branches off to the left to the Größtenberg. From here it is still a good 1.5 hours. The last part to the summit leads you safely through seemingly impenetrable mountain pines. The way back to Haslersgatter is the same. If you have parked your car at the Svetl chapel, you can make a circular hike from the Weingartalm in the direction of the Groißnalm (trail 470, 475).
