Then we have to cycle back up to the B145 and turn right onto the cycle path to Gmunden. After passing the outdoor swimming pools in Altmünster and Gmunden, we reach Toscanapark. Here you should make a detour to the Seehotel Schloss Ort. Ort Castle (also spelt Orth until the early 20th century) is a complex of two castles on Lake Traunsee and is located on the [island](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ort_(Insel) "Ort (Insel)")of Ort in the Ort district of the town of Gmunden in Upper Austria. It consists of the better-known lake castle on an island in Lake Traunsee and the country castle connected via the bridge. The lake castle is one of the oldest buildings in the Salzkammergut (see Tour 1; source: Wikipedia). We then cycle along the lakeside promenade into the pedestrianised area of Gmunden to the town hall square, where the boat landing stage is also located. From here we continue to the Traunbrücke bridge, which we cross. Immediately after the bridge, we take a sharp right onto Schiffslände and then continue until we reach Traunsteinstraße. There we turn right and follow the road until we turn left to the valley station of the Grünberg cable car. Now follows the first ascent. Once this has been mastered, we follow the signs for "Franz'l im Holz" in a straight line on a tarmac path and ride past the Götschhof farm until we reach Laudachseestraße. Here we keep to the right and after a right-hand bend we reach the municipal boundary between Gmunden and Gschwandt at a bridge over the Wasserlosen Bach (it really is called that). From here there is a further ascent with 7 hairpin bends over 2.5 km to the Franz'l im Holz restaurant on the left and Silberfuchs on the right. At the car park, turn right onto the goods road or forest road to Laudachsee. The Ramsaualm is signposted with opening times. On the forest road, we pass a barrier and then follow the path uphill to the so-called Radmoos and on to an open space where you can explore the beautiful area on various hiking trails (down to the eastern shore or to the Grünberg). However, we keep to the left and cycle further uphill until we come to the seven fountains, a beautifully designed fountain with seven outlets, which refers to a legend. After the Siebenbrünnlein, it is not far to the snack station Ramsaualm on Lake Laudachsee. Shortly before we reach the lake, you can see a plaque on the right-hand side of the path that tells of another story from the rich world of legends surrounding Lake Traunsee. It is the legend of the giant Erla and the mermaid Blondchen in Laudachsee. Now we can cover the last few metres to the Laudachsee and enjoy a well-earned refreshment at the snack station Ramsaualm. We return to Altmünster in the opposite direction. However, you now need to be more careful when descending on gravel tracks. On the one hand, you should know your own braking distance exactly, otherwise you could be in for a nasty surprise on the gravel. Secondly, you need to be considerate of hikers and families with children, who could easily be hit by a flying stone. If you stick to these rules, you will arrive safely at the bottom. If you want to relax in Altmünster, you can do so at the Tapaletta right next to the Altmünster solar baths. After a short stretch along the bathing meadow and the campsite, we cross under the busy B145 and return to our starting point at the municipal office in Altmünster.
