On sunny days, the car park at Gleinkersee is hopelessly overcrowded, so take advantage of the Bike & Hike offer and ride your e-bike to the **changing station at Gleinkersee!** **The bike tour takes about 1 hour from Windischgarsten | 11km | 285 m altitude; from Spital am Pyhrn approx. 40 minutes | 7.3km | 208 vertical meters and from Hinterstoder approx. 1.20 hours | 15km | 385 Hm (each one direction) added to the given tour details**. **HIKE**: You start the hike at the changing station at Gleinkersee, where you continue to the lake shore. Now take the path on the right along the bank to the opposite side. Here, hiking trail number 292 goes up to the Seegraben on the right. At a hiking trail fork, continue left on the Michael-Kniewasser-Steig with hiking trail number 292 to the Seespitz with a great panorama and a direct view of the Gleinkersee. The way back is the same way. **Walking time Gleinkersee - Seespitz approx. 2.5 hours.** If you still have energy left, you can extend your bike tour through the Pyhrn-Priel region from Gleinkersee on the way back.
