Start at Hausruckhof heading north-east, straight through the small wood and past the houses. At the Ampflwanger Feld (billboard), cross the B143 road and ride towards the sports field (beware that the path is rather muddy and deep when it rains a lot). At the sports ground, take the right-hand path in the municipal wood, which is also part of the [Tannenschlagweg](https://www.tourismus-hausruckwald.at/reiten-im-hausruckwald/reitwege/oesterreich-tour/detail/430008529/tannenschlagweg.html). Follow this path past Sommengattenfeld, always in the forest, first westwards, then northwards. Between Hof and Wassenbach, you cross the B 143 and continue northwards in the forest. The path runs parallel to the main road until shortly after the gravel pit. The path turns eastwards up the Urhamerberg. Then continue southwards on the Ampflwanger Rundweg until shortly before the Wolfsegger Ochsenzungen. Keep to the south-west and continue along the circular route. At the T-junction before Waldpoint, turn right towards Schachen. Shortly after Schabl, keep to the west and continue in the forest to the district of Schachen, past the houses and behind the waste collection centre on the forest path, you will soon see the Hausruckhof again and only come back to the farm on the short stretch of road at the playground.
