After crossing Heubergstraße, follow the old Thannerweg between meadows and fields (turn right at the T-junction). Then follow the path along the edge of the forest towards the inn in the Thann. At the inn, turn right into Panholzstraße and follow it to the intersection with Pfaffingerstraße, which you follow up to the edge of the forest. There, turn left and follow the well-marked path. The path winds along and through the forest. After crossing Aigenstraße, follow the hollow way towards Heuberg. Once there, cross Heubergstraße and turn into Marsstraße (Leitnerberg - great view). A short stretch downhill and then continue to the right on the meadow path. Follow this until it leads into Kaiblingerstraße and from there towards the town center of Dietach.
