In several switchbacks, the path winds uphill and then leads across towards Thürbauer, from there down to the railway promenade and along the Gaflenz stream upstream back to the parking lot.**Tip:** Climate-friendly to the National Park region – Weyer train station: By train, you reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.**Additional information:** On the way back, take a detour to the historic marketplace with its romantic courtyards and numerous dining options.
