M. Near the school campus stands the Bee Info House, built in the shape of a honeycomb. Several short films show excerpts from the life of honeybees, wild bees, and insects. In the glass beehive, the honey gatherers can be safely observed. After the village of Kobling, the show bee hut stands at the edge of the forest. Now you walk along the creek through the forest (great waterwheel). After crossing, the ascent follows on forest and meadow paths. At the Premserhügel resting place, resting benches—again built in honeycomb shape—await you. From here, a magnificent view opens from the Bohemian Forest to the Alps. The names of well-known mountain peaks are described on the panorama board. The mascot’s name is Carni. It tells amazing facts about bees. It excitingly explains what the bee’s body looks like, how they live, what the inside of the hive looks like, and what they do in winter.
