Initially, it leads uphill on the left side of the stream until it meets the road at the last houses. From here, follow the forest road that follows the stream further into the valley.**Tip:** Be sure to continue the route to the Stallburgalm. The hut of the Naturfreunde Weyer is located on an idyllic alpine pasture at the foot of the Großer Almkogel.**Additional information:** The hut is open from 1 May to 26 October from Thursday to Sunday. Viele Wanderwege durchziehen das waldreiche Gebiet, das sich durch eine besonders abwechslungsreiche Alpenflora auszeichnet. Von den Gipfeln hat man einen wunderbaren Rundblick auf das Tote Gebirge, das Gesäuse und die Ybbstaler Alpen. Geschlafen wird im Sechsbettzimmer oder im Lager. Es gibt getrennte WC-Anlagen und eine Waschrinne (nicht getrennt) mit Warmwasser. Hunde dürfen mit und auch übernachten, zum Rauchen muss man vor die Hütte. Handys funktionieren nur an bestimmten Stellen, Strom ist vorhanden. Die Hüttenleut` kümmern sich um das Wohl der Wandergäste mit g´schmackigen Suppen, Jausen und Mehlspeisen. Bewirtschaftet ist unsere Hütte jeden Samstag, Sonntag und Feiertag. Unter der Woche steht die Hütte für Selbstversorger zur Verfügung. Für Übernachtungsgäste wird gerne ein Almfrühstück zubereitet. Aufgrund der guten Verbindung (ab Bhf.
