On the new cycle route that connects Vorchdorf with Eggenstein or Pettenbach, you can now enjoy cycling safely away from the main road. At the waterworks, a bench and a fountain invite you to linger. Find peace and relaxation on the new bike route through the Theuerwanger Forest! The cycle path leads along the forest road through the **Theuerwanger Forest**. The route begins at Pettenbacherstraße / Theuerwang intersection opposite the inn **"Schauflinger's Gasthaus Theuerwang**". There is also a parking lot along Pettenbacherstraße. The forest road takes you through the relaxing forest to the market town of Pettenbach. From Eggensteinerstraße there are various connection options for **further cycling tours**, e.g. on the **R13 Traunviertel cycle path** in the direction of Pettenbach or in the direction of Kirchham / Laakirchen, here you are also on the **3rd stage of the Traunviertel tour**. You also come to the **R11 Almtalradweg bicycle path** in the direction of Almsee or in the direction of Wels. **We would like to thank the property owners, the Schauflinger family, the Kremsmünster Abbey and the Schnellnberger family, for making the cycle path possible.** We ask you to behave respectfully towards nature and other forest users.
