The hike leads from the "Wirt in der Spöck" inn slightly uphill into the Litzingerforst forest. The trail continues past a cross that has long borne the name "Beim toten Weib" ("At the dead woman") and continues westwards, initially on a forest path and later on a forest road. Shortly before reaching the Zuckau-Pollhammeredt municipal road, the hiking route turns left in a southerly direction. Now it is approx. 1 1/2 - 2 km on a forest path again until you briefly come to a forest road again in the village of Satteltal. After reaching the village of Satteltal, the hike continues slightly uphill to the right on the municipal road in the direction of Pfefferberg. From the Pfefferberg, you walk downhill on a path to Zipf.In the village of Zipf, which belongs to Neukirchen an der Vöckla, there are several places to stop for refreshments: Café Piccolo, right next to the hiking route Brauhaus Zipf, right next to the Zipf brewery Imbiss Edelweiss, 10 minutes away near the Redl-Zipf railway station As the railway station is close to the hiking route, the hike can of course also be walked in the opposite direction from Zipf to Spöck.
