From the centre of Zell am Pettenfirst, the trail leads north to the Hohe Rast. Turn right here towards Hoblschlag and Tanzboden. At Poidlschopf, the circular route turns right towards Burgstall and from there via Kreuzweg and Waldpointstraße back to Zell am Pettenfirst.
