First we hike to a small bridge and over the stream, then on the left hand steeply up into the forest. After only a few meters, the path branches off to the Kreuzstein waterfall, which we reach after a short time on a branch path. Now we continue to hike steeply up the slope on hike trail No. 19. We come to a stream and cross it. In an easterly direction we continue to hike to a hunting lodge with a wonderful view all over lake Mondsee. We follow the path straight ahead and cross another stream. A short time later we reach the forest road and follow it for some time. On the left you can follow the hiking trail for a little longer, but you can also stay on the forest road and follow it until you reach the Eisenauer Alm.
