Hiking trail: E30 **Directions:** From the church square, the path leads above the community house up to the mountain ridge. The highest point at the Alberhöhe with the chapel offers a 360° panoramic view over the Alpine foothills - to Glasenberg, Freithofberg, Lindaumauer, and into the Kalkalpen National Park with the Größtenberg. Maria am Hochaltar wird auch gegenwärtig am meisten verehrt. Die zahlreichen Votivtafeln im alten Presbyterium sind vielfältige Zeichen des Vertrauens und der Dankbarkeit der frommen Verehrer Mariens. Die Altarnische enthält eine lebensgroße Marienstatue mit dem Jesuskind (gotisch), das von einem zierlichen Strahlenkranz und einem lebhaften Engelreigen umgeben ist. Zwei schwebende Engel halten eine Krone über Maria. Das Spruchband lautet:**„Heilige Maria, Mutter der schönen Liebe und der heiligen Hoffnung, du Heil der Kranken zu Neustift bitte für uns.“** Über der Altarnische befinden sich zwei Engelsgestalten, über den Säulenkapitellen auf der Evangelistenseite St. Benedikt, auf der Epistelseite der Hl.
