Hiking trail: E31, E31a, E31b **Directions:** From the church square in Maria Neustift, the E31 leads to the Freithofberg. At first, the hiking trail runs uphill on an asphalt road. Next, it goes over a meadow ridge, then on a gravel path, across a meadow and through a short forest section. During the hike and upon reaching the destination, you will be rewarded with magnificent panoramas. Variants: - Freithofberg Circular Route: From the church square to the Weger farmhouse, you walk on asphalt and from there the mountain is circled on the left, passing the junction to Konradsheim, at the Moosgraben fire station. Maria am Hochaltar wird auch gegenwärtig am meisten verehrt. Die zahlreichen Votivtafeln im alten Presbyterium sind vielfältige Zeichen des Vertrauens und der Dankbarkeit der frommen Verehrer Mariens. Die Altarnische enthält eine lebensgroße Marienstatue mit dem Jesuskind (gotisch), das von einem zierlichen Strahlenkranz und einem lebhaften Engelreigen umgeben ist. Zwei schwebende Engel halten eine Krone über Maria. Das Spruchband lautet:**„Heilige Maria, Mutter der schönen Liebe und der heiligen Hoffnung, du Heil der Kranken zu Neustift bitte für uns.“** Über der Altarnische befinden sich zwei Engelsgestalten, über den Säulenkapitellen auf der Evangelistenseite St. Benedikt, auf der Epistelseite der Hl.
