This tour is not only worthwhile because of the beautiful route through the forest and meadows, but also and above all because of the fantastic all-round view from the observation tower.** From the Mondsee-Irrsee tourist office in the center of Mondsee, you bike through the market square and the Herzog Odilo Street to the junction "Mondseeberg". On the right hand side you go up the mountain and under the highway to a hairpin bend. We leave the curve at its apex and drive through a settlement and later past some farms. The path now runs through forests and meadows until we finally reach a barrier including a parking lot for hikers. From now on you ride on the forest road into the forest. The forest road winds in a large arc around the summit of the Kulmspitz, which we reach by a detour from the northeast. A visit to the lookout tower is absolutely worthwhile! The same route now takes you back to the forst route where you've already been before, but this time you turn left. After a short time the path meets the mountain bike route II on Mondseeberg, which we will follow from now on.
