Starting from the tourist office in Mondsee, we walk down the Lindenallee to the lake. Once you reach the lakeside promenade, keep right and walk to the Alpenseebad. After the beach volleyball courts, we reach the main road and follow it to the left until we reach the roundabout/Eurospar. We continue along the lake through a small residential neighbourhood and reach the Schwarzindien lido and the village of the same name behind it. We now walk through this settlement to the last house in front of a large meadow, turn round there and return to Mondsee along the same path.
