From the tourist office in Mondsee, we set off in the direction of the cemetery and then turn right into Hierzenbergerstraße. We walk along the Zeller Ache river under the main road and reach a quiet settlement. We continue straight ahead until we reach the former scythe factory and a company site, where we turn right onto a forest path. This path leads us along the stream through the beautiful Helenental valley. We cross a bridge, leave the forest behind us and continue along the edge of the forest to Erlachmühle. We return along the same route.
