The 26-kilometre loop around the Irrsee starts at the tourist office in Mondsee. From there you run into the Helenental valley and on to Punzau. Continue straight on to the Hotel Pöllmann and run along the west side of the Irrsee to its end. On the other side of the lake we walk to the district of Kasten and through the hamlet of Haidermühle back to Helenental and back to Mondsee.
