Starting from the tourist office in Mondsee, we begin our tour along the large avenue towards the lake. Once we reach the lakeside promenade, we turn right and walk to the Alpenseebad. After the beach volleyball courts, we reach the main road and walk along it on the footpath to the roundabout/Eurospar. Behind it, we turn into the villa estate and walk along the lake, first through an avenue of birch trees and then on through the small village of Schwarzindien. Before the last house in the settlement, we turn right and continue straight ahead along the old railway line to the Wagnermühle (Reiterhof). After a small bridge, we turn left and reach the church in St. Lorenz. Shortly afterwards we reach the Drachenwand inn and turn right here. Below the Drachenwand, we now continue straight ahead for a long time. In the hamlet of "Steiblhof" we turn right, cross the Fuschler Ache and immediately turn right again. We now pass a sawmill and a car dealership and walk through a small wooded area to the Höribachsiedlung. From this hill you can already see back down to Mondsee. At the bottom of the main road, we meet up with the familiar path again and follow it back to Mondsee.
