From here, take trail no. 613 directly up the slope via the Ochsenwaldkapelle chapel to the Arlingalmen. The way back takes you along the snow-covered forest road downhill towards Rohrauerhaus. However, turn left at the fork and follow trail 601 to the starting point. WATCH OUT: Avalanches can spontaneously trigger themselves from the slope of the Great Pyhrgas after heavy snowfall. In addition, a snow cornice often forms below the hairpin bend in strong winds.
