From the Bärenalm car park, turn right onto hiking trail 209/280. Follow the hollow path to a forest road. Cross this and follow the signposts to the Schafferreith mountain hut. For a better view, climb straight up the slope to the mountain hut (former restaurant). The descent leads to the forest road and then follows the same path back as the ascent.
