The fairly flat cycle tour from Bad Ischl to St. Gilgen is ideal for families and can be wonderfully combined with a boat trip from St. Gilgen to Strobl. From Bad Ischl, you cycle along almost untrodden paths towards Strobl. From the small town on Lake Wolfgangsee, you cycle along the shores of the lake and through a very varied landscape to St. Gilgen. Numerous refreshment stops along the route invite you to take a break. On the way back, we recommend a boat trip across Lake Wolfgangsee from St. Gilgen to Strobl. From there, it's just a gentle 12 kilometre descent towards the imperial town.
