You can start from the center of Grünau im Almtal or from the Pension Helmut Mittermayr. Before there it goes right over a meadow to the Mayr Chapel. The path leads above the Weihes and the Forellenhof to the right of the Alm river to the Lippander sawmill (opposite the Forellenhof).
