From the market square, the challenging tour leads steadily uphill right from the start in the direction of Altenberg. After just a few kilometres, the Mirellenstüberl invites you to take a break. Strengthened with delicacies from the region, the steep metres in altitude are easily mastered. After 20 kilometres, you reach Hellmonsödt, the highest point of the tour, with a fantastic view over Linz. With a typical Mühlviertel uphill-downhill ride, you return to the starting point via Reichenau. Towards the end of the tour, the inn in Steinbach at KM 40 in the beautiful Steinbachtal valley invites you to linger. After the rest, the remaining kilometres downhill to the Gallneukirchen market square are a breeze. The tour is very demanding.
