From the parking lot at the **Gahberg Chapel**, the trail leads past the two farms toward **Schaffling** and **Kreuzing Alm**.At the **Kreuzing Alm/Reindlmühl** intersection **,** the route branches off to the right and follows the road a short distance slightly downhill to the sign pointing toward the **Richtberg**. The trailhead is narrow and steep. The trail then leads through the forest. After a long climb, you’ll reach the forest road that leads to **the pilgrimage chapel**. There’s a special spot there to linger. The chapel invites you to pause and reflect, and offers a magnificent view of the **Traunstein** and Lake **Traunsee**.
