From the sports grounds Schwarzenbach, go 100 mt along the path toward St. Wolfgang. Immediately after the sports grounds, turn off left and follow the yellow markers leading to the edge of the forest then right to Lake Wolfgang and around the rocky Bürglstein outcrop to the sluice. Right here, over the bridge and immediately left talking the wooden steps to the Achenweg (path), on which you then walk, along the Ischl (river). Go under the road to a wooden bridge, just before the Schlagermühle (farmstead). Left here, over the bridge and immediately left again (route no. 29) on a field path going a little upstream, then over the Rußbach brook and straight ahead to just before another bridge. Go right here, upstream along the Schwarzenbach brook until you reach the main road. Go left here and follow the road, which soon takes you bak to the Bürglstein (guesthouse).
