From the car park at the pass of the stallion pass we go towards Black Mountain. Let the Spitzenbergalm are left and go into the ditch. Go on the left side of the valley below the forest along until it ends and a meadow on the top of mountain Riedel ( Crest) is visible. Now left the slope in bends upwards to go on the back. Go right along the ridge at the top flat, later becoming steeper high. At the edge of the forest not too far to the left beyond cross - Snow board Danger! Finally, you go through the woods just to the right on the lower summit ( Tannschwärze ) with a summit cross. The main peak is usually not climbed in winter. Departure: Along the ascent route on the ridge exit ( CAUTION: Do not cross too far to the right - snow board risk ) or west first ski down from the top through the forest , then across the meadow , a beautiful open hillside , up in the ditch. Here you will find mostly existing departure tracks. Now continue straight until you come to the ascent track . Now continue down the valley to Spitzenbergalm and the starting point.
