Characteristics --------------- The **Aurachkar Slabs** are located across from the **Grenzeck** and offer beautiful climbing on sloping slabs as well as in and along water channels. The rock is mostly rough and eroded by water. Due to the northwestern exposure, the sun doesn’t reach the walls until the afternoon. The routes are well-protected. Rappel is possible with a **50-meter double rope**. Approach -------- **Duration:** about 35 minutes From the **Taferlklaussee** parking lot, the approach follows **hiking trail No. 826** toward **the Hochleckenhaus**. Shortly after the **St.-Georgs-Bründl** with its wooden trough, the trail makes a sharp turn to the right. At this point, trail marks continue straight ahead.
