Idyllic forest paths, gentle forest roads and viewpoints await you on this leisurely circular hike, making every step a pleasure.* A leisurely hike partly in the forest on forest roads, partly on side roads with wonderful views of Lake Attersee. Pass the barrier and continue straight ahead on a forest road towards Wienerroith. At the Wienerroith-Neuwegstüberl junction, turn right and then follow the tarmac road slightly downhill to the Neuwegstüberl. Before doing so, however, you should take a short detour straight ahead to the viewpoint and enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Attersee. From Neuwegstüberl, a forest road, which also divides a wild boar enclosure, leads straight ahead for approx. 4 km to the alluvial forest. You now leave the "wild boar area" again and keep right towards Straß, where you walk straight ahead for approx. 300 m on an asphalt road. At the Roiss-Roith goods road, turn right and walk up to the houses on an asphalt road. Behind the houses, turn left onto a dirt track that leads slightly uphill to a forest. Now walk through the forest for approx. 5 minutes and then along a dirt track alongside the forest. On a hill you can now see the Wimmer house, Kronberg 24, which you walk up to. Turn left after the farmhouse and follow the road until you reach the Kronberger Landesstraße. Turn right here and walk past the fire station and then turn right again to return to the starting point. It is worth taking a break at the [Kronbergkapelle](https://attersee-attergau.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-poi/detail/401273/kronbergkapelle.html) to enjoy the fantastic view of Lake Attersee and the Attergau with binoculars. If you want to shorten the tour, turn right at the Wienerroith-Neuwegstüberl/Auwald junction and follow the signs to 3a Auwald.
