Take the funicular up to the Wurzeralm mountain station. From there, an approximately half-hour walk leads to the valley station of the Frauenkar chairlift. After the ascent with the chairlift, the trail first runs a short distance to the left down the piste, which is left to the right at the first left-hand bend.The ascent continues via some easy climbing sections (difficulty level I) up to the Widerlechnerstein. The trail then follows the course of the ridge up to the secured passages (A/B). At the summit of the Warscheneck, you can take a long break with an impressive panoramic view. From the summit, the marked hiking trail continues to the Toten Mann. At the Rote Wand saddle, the path branches off to the right to the Brunnsteinersee lake. From there, the way back leads to the mountain station of the Wurzeralm funicular. **How difficult is it?** Sure-footedness is required. Only the difficult and very exposed sections are secured (A/B). There are also some climbing sections at difficulty level I. Via ferrata equipment is recommended for less experienced climbers. Children with mountain experience (recommended from the age of 10) should have a short safety rope with them**.** The Frauenkarbahn is only open from mid-June to the end of September on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in good weather!
