This **family walk through the forest** begins at the **Auboden** parking lot **in Kaisigen**. To get there, turn right uphill at the **Hausmühle**. The road leads to the parking lot.From the parking lot, **Hiking Trail No. 3** leads toward **Feld**. The **“Hansl-Mühle”** dwarf signpost shows the way. Passing dwarves and fairy-tale characters, the route continues to the village **of Feld**. The return trip follows the same path. Alternatively, the “Zwergerlweg” can also be walked as a loop trail. The starting point for this is the **Steinbacher Hausmühle**. From the mill, the trail leads directly uphill along the **Alte Großalmstraße**. Once at the top, the route branches off to the right at the first opportunity onto the gravel path and follows it until you reach the **“Zwergerlweg” sign**. After the Zwergerlweg, the route heads right downhill into the village **of Kaisigen** and then back along the quiet road to the starting point at the Hausmühle. This loop takes about **an hour** and is just under **2 km** long. Cameroon sheep can be seen along the loop trail. With a little luck, you might also spot zebras, donkeys, or alpacas. **Note:** The Zwergerlweg is not suitable for strollers, as there are narrow sections, steps, and tree roots on the forest trail.
