Then a meadow path leads to the left via the Kößlwangerbach to the village of Dorfham (wayside cross). From there, turn right to Georgskirche. The Georgskirchlein in Kößlwang is located on the street in the middle of a meadow. It has undergone changes at every stylistic stage since its creation. The gem of the church is the late Gothic sculpture of St. Georg with dragons in the choir room. The figure was probably created around the middle of the 15th century. It was erected at the same time as the high altar and the statue of St. Anthony. Hiking trail no. 6 continues through the village of Kößlwang to the wayside cross, over the hill to the village of Aigen. The bank at the Hörtenhuber chapel invites you to linger. From the crossroads, turn left onto the Aigen-Rath supply road, and the path leads through a piece of forest. Follow the markings to the Mosteinkehr at the Berger family. After the rest it is only a few minutes back to the starting point. Also possible by bike (e-bike rental in Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting).
