From the northwest, however, it can be climbed without any problems. At the summit you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Wurzeralm and the Warscheneck-mountain range. Already from the top station of the funicular, the Stubwieswipfel is quite clearly visible. Follow the signs first down to Teichlboden and past the Filzmoosalm huts. There you leave the comfortable gravel road and it goes up on a forest path to another gravel road. Follow this to the right and - following the signpost - soon turn right. From now on, the trail goes steadily uphill through the forest and mountain pines to the narrow ridge with a summit cross. **Tip**: The Teichlboden deserves your special attention as the highest high moor in the Northern Limestone Alps. The Teichl, the watercourse running through this high moor, disappears underground during the so-called Teichlschwund. Be careful, you will pass it.
