For the Kalvarienberg loop, start in the center of Windischgarsten and follow the main road in the direction of Gleinkersee. After the bottleneck at Tracht & Mode Peter, keep right and follow the road for about 100m over the bridge until you turn right to Mayrwinkl and Villa Sonnwend. Directly before the old people's home turn left into Spielstraße and shortly afterwards turn right into Gunststraße. Shortly before the end of the road, follow the dirt road on and on until you come to a road again. Here you turn right and follow the road until you reach Salzastraße. This will take you back to the starting point. Tip: Don't just walk around Calvary! Follow the Way of the Cross up and enjoy the view of Windischgarsten flanked by the Great and Small Pyhrgas.
