The Stodertal via ferrata leads up the right, lowest part of the Spitzmauer north face, very well secured, to the back of the Spitzmauer peak. From the exit you can reach the summit of the Spitzmauer in 40 minutes on a normal hiking trail. From here you have a breathtaking view far beyond the Stoder Valley. The trail has a continuous steel rope belay and numerous brackets. Steep wall steps (B) alternate with sloping slabs (A, A/B) and ladders - sometimes very exposed. **How difficult is it?** The Stodertaler Climb is suitable for fit children as well as the less experienced, although a safety rope should not be dispensed with. We recommend basic via ferrata equipment and a rockfall helmet.
