Starting from the lido, the 2-lake trail leads across the leisure area (cross the wooden bridge at the island camp) along the Seeache towards Mondsee. Upstream you reach the forest island. After the forest island, walk past the night club and follow the path. Keep right at the Eisenau fork and walk slightly downhill. After a clearing in the forest, walk slightly uphill again along a small settlement and then turn left towards Kreuzstein "Dr Angelisweg". With wonderful views of Lake Mondsee, you reach the public bathing area at Kreuzstein, which forms the turning point of the 2-lake trail.
