It was built in 1946 in gratitude for the return of the miller's son Hubert from the war and renovated by the Kameradschaftsbund in 1994. The rest of the trail alternates between meadows and forests. After about half an hour's walking, you will see the first houses in the village of Trosselsdorf, offering a magnificent view of Neumark from a completely different perspective. In Trosselsdorf, don't miss the opportunity to visit the cider museum and stop off at the rustic inn. The trail then leads down into the Gusental valley and on to the horse-drawn railway hiking trail. Turn left to guardhouse no. 38, which has now been converted into a residential building.
