This is the source of the Große Kamp. From there, the route goes back a little, via the Ungererhahn, past the RostBar pub via the village of Schanz towards Taborwald. After a romantic ride through the Rubenerwald forest, the route leads through the villages of Kienau, Neustift, Leopoldstein and Dauerbach to the Rubener pond in the Tanner Moor nature reserve, the highest raised forest moor in Upper Austria. The route leads steadily uphill and downhill via Geierschlag and Windhing to Liebenstein, where you can enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the Waldviertel and towards the Czech Republic from the Jankusmauer. Incidentally, there are two sacrificial bowls near the Jankusmuer, the so-called "Teufelskessel", one of which is always dry and the other always filled with water. You return to Liebenau via Eibenberg and Monegg.
