Cross-border hike: don't forget your passport or ID! Drive to the Hochficht ski arena car park. On the forest road (signpost), which leads into the forest to the left of the ticket office, you will reach the Gasthaus zum Überleben. **0 km** You start the hike in Holzschlag at the "**Gasthaus zum Überleben**". Walk downhill to the forest road on which you came from the car park at the Hochfichtbergbahn valley station. Turn right onto this road and head towards the forest. Pass the mountain station on the left and you will see the summit cross of the Hochficht (1,338 m) to the left of the path. Follow the Stierwiesenabfahrt piste downhill for 500 metres, keeping to the left, cross a forest road and continue downhill. Here the Nordwaldkammweg crosses the piste and you follow the markings to the right into the forest. After 200 metres, you will find the ascent to ... **8.3 km Stinglfelsen (1,260 m).** You can reach the summit via several ladders. Once you reach the summit cross, enjoy a rest and the panoramic view over the Mühltal valley to the Alps. Follow the path downhill through the forest. You will cross several pistes and forest roads.
