Continue on the road to Jaukenberg, passing through the Bärenholz forest near the Nußbaumerhof and along the meadow path to ... **3.9 km Zarghof**. Walk past the farm, down the paved road toward Unterurasch. After the bridge, turn right and continue along the Zwettlbach stream to the Bienenhütte. Shortly after the Bienenhütte, turn left and walk up the slope. After a short hike, you’ll come to a dirt road; turn right here and continue through the forest over gently rolling terrain. Just before you exit the forest, cross the ditch to the right and walk up the opposite slope. At the right angle, turn left onto the meadow path, then branch off to the right and head toward the forest. From there, the trail descends steeply to the ... **6.6 km boundary marker,** which was set during the mapping and boundary demarcation under Joseph II, and on to the steep steps of the Schwarzenberg Flume. During the snowmelt, logs would crash down into the riverbed here with a thunderous roar. It was one of the most dangerous spots for the log drivers, because if the logs became wedged here, the ones behind were often hurled meters high into the air. **7.7 km At the rest area,** cross the Morau River and head toward St. Oswald. **9.2 km In St. Oswald**, head downhill on the road to Almesberg, continue along the meadow path to Schwackerreith, and then take the road to ... **11.5 km Furtmühle**. Old trade routes crossed here. One led from Aigen along the Gr. Mühl to this spot; the more important one was a salt route, the connection between Rohrbach and South Bohemia. A toll booth was set up at the Furtmühle. Cross the Große Mühl and turn left along the river onto a meadow path.
