From the village centre, head west to Schalbach, along the Auweg to Mitterleiten, then a meadow path leads on to the north side of Schalbach. The route then leads to the path north of the Innbach stream to Ach or Freiung. From Pfaffendorf, follow the "Trummlerweg" back to Pichl. The centre trail is the shortest route in the Pichl hiking network and can be completed effortlessly on almost completely flat paths. The hiking map is available from the market town office in Pichl bei Wels.
