The trail starts flat in the village centre, after around 1.5 kilometres a steep ascent to Holzhäuser begins (note the turn-off to the left in the hollow path). The route continues along field, forest and meadow paths with wonderful views of the Alpine foothills, past St Peter's Church, along beautiful meadow and forest paths to the filial church of St Jakob. Then a flat, tarmac path back to Pichl. Very quiet hiking route. The hiking map is available from the market town office in Pichl bei Wels.
