Start: Hoferriedlweg / Oberes Aigen (district of Strobl), Follow to the Sueßalm, cross and ascend to the Fahrenberg forest road. Cross the road, past the Rettenkogelhütte to the Rotwand Sattel. From here, descend to the right to the junction with path 891/892, follow the path to Bärenköpfl. Continue along the ridge to the iron ladder, then up to the summit of the 1780m high Rettenkogel.
