At the saddle, the hiking trail from Platten joins in. Turn left onto the narrowing path that passes under the south flank of the Lindaumauer and then turns left up to the summit cross. Those sure-footed and without fear of heights can follow the rocky, somewhat exposed ridge northeast to the Lindauer Berg, 30 minutes away – it also offers a magnificent view. The return journey is on the same path. Hiking trail: E04, E32 **Directions:** The Lindaumauer is a small but rugged and legendary rock block north of Weyer and close to the Lower Austrian state border. The access to the snack station Hochramskogel is near Kreuzgruberhöhe at the Neustifter Sattel. From the snack station, follow the rising gravel road about 300 m. Then the path branches off to the left and leads, getting steeper, over a colorful flower meadow with numerous medicinal and wild herbs. After a short steep section through the forest, you reach a saddle where the hiking trail from Platten joins. To the left, the narrowing path leads under the south flank of the Lindaumauer and then left up to the summit cross. Before that, you should visit the rock cave located just above the path (bring a flashlight). Those sure-footed and without fear of heights can hike over the rocky, somewhat exposed ridge northeast to the Lindauer Berg, 30 minutes away – it also offers a magnificent view. The return path is the same. **Lindaumauer circular route variant:** On the Bretboding farm road, turn left onto the forest road after the farmhouse. Slightly uphill on the forest road, the path soon turns into a steep forest trail and you enter a forest meadow, which is not called "Fairy Meadow" without reason. Keeping right along the forest edge, the walk goes gently up and down towards the Lindaumauer. **Tip:** On the south flank of the Lindaumauer, you should pay a visit to the rock cave located just above the path (bring a flashlight). Durch die leichte Erreichbarkeit wird sie oft begangen. Dennoch ist für den Ungeübten höchste Vorsicht angebracht! Für ausreichend Licht (Reserve!), Wechselkleidung sowie Begleitung für Notfälle ist unbedingt zu sorgen! **Höhlen sind sensible und hochempfindliche Lebensräume**, die seltene wenn auch sehr kleine Tiere beherbergen.
