The hike begins between the houses at Linzer Straße 21 and 23, the path runs uphill. You soon pass through the archway to the walled churchyard of St Martin's Church, from where you have a beautiful view over the town of Attnang-Puchheim. Climbing up a few steps, you reach the Braun crypt. This is the burial place of the Braun family in Puchheim. The former Braun brewery is now home to the Spitz food factory, which is known far beyond our borders. After another short uphill section, you reach a beautiful viewing point high above Alt-Attnang, where several benches invite you to take a break. The path now continues to climb slightly through a mixed forest. Here you turn right at a crossroads. From there you reach the western edge of the forest, along which the path then leads. Several benches invite you to take a break here. Especially in spring, you can enjoy the warming rays of sunshine here. Further along this forest edge path, there is a row of birch trees on the valley side, so that this path is also known as the birch avenue. There are also several benches here. After the last bench, the path turns back into the forest and leads slightly uphill until you reach the highest point of the hike just before the Diehs family estate. From there, you leave the forest and the path continues along narrow roads past the village of Landertsham to Linzer Straße. Cross this road and walk along the Lehbach stream and past the local cemetery to reach the starting point in Linzer Straße.
