Schlatt offers a special look back in time where history has left its mark for visitors to explore and enjoy. There is evidence of a Roman settlement at Breitenschützing that dates back to the 3rd century AD. Today, the village territory is the site of important sources of loam making it a thriving hub of the brick industry. The picturesque village of Schlatt and the scenic surroundings are dotted by numerous chapels, roadside cavalries and wayside shrines. Local must-sees include the magnificent Calvary Church.
