In addition to the impressive townscape with the original Mühlviertel farms, Ottenschlag is characterized by natural oases such as the Roadlberg, the Stadlerwiese or the Mooswiesn landscape pond with the first Upper Austrian soil nature trail. True-to-original bridges and the construction of dry stone walls demonstrate the sustainable awareness of nature:
